This is The Royal Forest of Dean where my Hatton, Walby, Miles, and Davis families lived for centuries. Two homes are still standing and it is unlike any other part of England. At some period my father's male lineage came from Scotland and likely lived in the Orkney Islands in the ancient past based on DNA testing. I've been to this Forest and it is a mysterious place. I can just imagine what it may have been like 500 plus years ago. The Hatton name is recorded there as early as the 1100. Many of the males in our family were named Arthur after King Arthur. I'm sure this will not continue after the generation following me. King Arthur was said to have roamed this Forest and Merlin's Cave is in the Forest. The Standing Stones DO give off an energy.
